Rainy Nights & Pie Pumpkins

25 Dec

It’s Christmas Eve and I’m busily working on this new blog. Can someone be a serial blogger? Really, I just like to start new blogs, then let them die on the vine or at least remain dormant indefinitely. While I’m typing away, the rain is pounding on the tin roof, there is a pie pumpkin roasting in the oven, along with – though seperated from – the seeds and a freshly made graham cracker pie crust is waiting to be filled. My other half and I sprinted to the nearby beds between raindrops and raised the plastic over the hoop house to protect the newly sprouted kale, radish, and mustard.

Happy Holidays and thank you to all our customers!
